Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Thoughtful, compassionate care for children, teens, and families.

Some families arrive early. Some children need a quieter moment. Just Right Here is a short, illustrated children’s book about presence and gentle connection, created for children who may be waiting with their families. Complimentary copies of the book are available in our Northbrook office waiting room.

FAQs
Do you take insurance?
We are an out-of-network practice and do provide superbills for reimbursement.
Will I be involved in my child’s treatment?
Yes. We value family input and include parents in age-appropriate ways.
Do you offer both therapy and psychiatry?
Yes — our team includes psychiatrists and therapists who collaborate closely.

Getting Started

Our evaluation process begins with two separate one-hour appointments—one with a parent or caregiver, and one with the child or teen. This structure helps us get a full picture of your child’s strengths, challenges, and needs.
  • Parent appointments can be done conveniently over Zoom
  • Patient appointments take place in person at our Chicago or Northbrook offices
After these meetings, your provider will create a tailored treatment plan and recommend the best path forward - whether that includes therapy, medication, or a combination of supports.
