What to Expect When We Talk About Medication
For many families, deciding whether to start medication is one of the hardest parts. We treat the first few appointments as a consultation - a space to talk, not a commitment to start anything.
Easing Worries About Treatment
Starting psychiatric care can feel intimidating - especially when medication is on the table. In this video, Dr. Rebecca Cho talks about the concerns she often hears from parents and kids, and how she focuses on building trust, answering questions, and creating a safe space from the very beginning.

Getting Started
Our evaluation process begins with two separate one-hour appointments—one with a parent or caregiver, and one with the child or teen. This structure helps us get a full picture of your child’s strengths, challenges, and needs.
• Parent appointments can be done conveniently over Zoom
• Patient appointments take place in person at our Chicago or Northbrook offices
After these meetings, your provider will create a tailored treatment plan and recommend the best path forward - whether that includes therapy, medication, or a combination of supports.
We offer in-person care in Chicago and Northbrook, and telehealth services across Illinois.
