North Star Conversations Transcript: Accessing CATCH Resources
Lisa Novak offers a walkthrough of how families can engage with CATCH—from joining peer support groups to attending events or volunteering. All resources are free and built to help parents support their kids’ mental health.

How do parents and families get involved or find ways of accessing CATCH as a resource?
Lisa Novak (00:06)
Go to our website. It is catchiscommunity.org. All of our resources are available there. There's also a button that says, "come volunteer for us" and if you fill that form out, then we can help connect you with the different arms of what we do, the different committees, whether it's more directly related to reaching into schools or to helping with the programming that we do, to help at events that we host. We need the community's involvement. And so we welcome anyone who's interested in partaking to join us and join a team of fun, fabulous volunteers that are all just working towards the same mission.

In addition to volunteering, are there other ways listed on the website for how a parent can be connected?
Lisa Novak (00:48)
Yes, absolutely. So if anyone is interested in utilizing any of our resources, they are all available on our website for free. There are ways to find the Parents Connect groups if you would like to join a group and get that peer support. There are videos and access to all the resources that we already have that you can literally just watch on your own. And then we have always promotional materials for our upcoming events. We'll have a couple of events in the fall and in the spring, and so look out for those and please come join us. Some are in person, some are virtual. Always love to have anybody join.
